Yes, we start our ingredients with manually selected, super-fine whey protein isolate and yes, it is the major ingredient in our blend. We know most blends out there have majority of concentrate in them but this is Gut-Light :-)
Whey Protein Concentrate
Here's our 2nd ingredient in this blend. Manually selected whey protein concentrate that is sometimes lighter than most of the isolates out there. How? Quality and filtration of our raw material.
Whole Milk Powder
Our 3rd ingredient in the list is Whole Milk Powder. This ingredient enhances the taste of this blend but we had to put it in a very small quantity as isolate & concentrate took much of the space in the formulation.
Cocoa Powder
You already know what cocoa powder is but did you know that not all cocoa powder are same? Most of the times it's either European or Indonesian. We use European cocoa powder for better taste and quality.
Chocolate Flavor
WHAT? You used flavour in this? Yes. But aren't those harmful? Well, as per fear-mongering influencers and brands - YES, IT'S HARMFUL.

Why does your blend feels lighter than other blends?
Fair point. Our blend has majority of whey protein isolate as primary ingredients while other blends have concentrate or sometimes equal amount of isolate and concentrate.
We have intentionally added more of isolate to make it lighter. Yes, it may increase the cost but at least your gut is happy.
Does whole milk powder constitute to the protein content in it?
Not much. Our primary protein sources are whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. They took most of the space in the formulation. Whole milk powder has been added to enhance the taste of the protein.
Why haven't you added any lecithin in it?
We didn't feel the need to. As a brand that follows science we have to say that lecithin is fine, it's okay if you find it any other brands but we didn't add it, our mixing, digestion is already super-fine.
Has Gentle Beast ever received any external certifications?
YES. We have been tested and approved by certifications like Trustified & Unbox Health
Are you guys 3rd party lab tested?
100%. Although we know the quality we are building but we still do it for your peace of mind (and ours too :-P)
Is whey protein harmful?
Is milk harmful? If your answer is "NO", then how can whey be harmful when it's made from the milk itself? HOWEVER, low quality whey filled with unethical and harmful ingredients can be harmful, especially if it has been amino spiked.
Is this whey protein suitable for women?
We have a considerable percentage of female consumers, some of them being mothers and doctors too. To be honest, any brand's whey protein is suitable for women as long as that particular protein is safe, pure and created ethically. Protein doesn't discriminate, it's the job of us humans only. So, yes, whey protein is safe for healthy men and women.
If somebody is making the package intentionally pink and saying that this "Protein is for Women Only", then that's just misleading and marketing.
Is there any added sugar in this?
Absolutely not. Whey protein generally don't need added sugar, that's why you won't find lots of whey proteins out there without any added sugar. It's nothing special, just a general practice.

Why are you guys against natural sweetener?
Haha. We are not against natural sweeteners. We are against misinformation being spread just to get some views and sales. In fact we are also creating protein with natural sweeteners, for us both types of sweeteners are fine as that's what the science has proven. It's just a matter of preference.
How much time do you take to ship the order?
Our goal has always been to prepare and ship the orders within 24 working hours of receiving the order. The delivery date depends on the distance between your location and our warehouse and other things like weather, geographic and demographic conditions. However, most of our orders get delivered within 4-7 working days.
Why isn't this available on sites like Amazon & Flipkart?
Duplicate protein is very much a real issue. As of now this variant isn't on Amazon and Flipkart. We will let you know once it's available there. Till then, we would request you to buy from our official website directly.
